SEM helped me in the acquisition of my dream cello, a modern instrument made by David Leonard Wiedmer, based on a Guadagnini model. I’m truly in love with the immense potential of this cello. As its first player, I have the unique opportunity to shape its voice and truly make it my own. It’s a very special feeling.

This instrument gives me the freedom I’ve been searching for over many years. It feels like the perfect tool to express myself. It is my voice, the continuation of who I am.

I don’t think I will ever be done exploring new colors on this cello, it is so responsive and rich, offering me endless possibilities.

This Guadagnini model is particularly special due to its shorter string length, which makes the work of my left hand significantly easier and more fluid.

I truly believe that David Leonard Wiedmer is one of the most talented instrument makers of his generation, with several important sales to his name. I am beyond grateful to have the opportunity to play one of his instruments.
