When a young musician has the preparation, the desire and the dream to obtain the maximum quality in music as possible, it’s extremely important to equalize the level of the instrument with the level of the person.

People cannot reach a higher level of musicality when the limitations of a beginner’s instrument don’t allow them to go further than what they intend to.

Unfortunately, professional bassoons are extremely expensive due to the complexity of the instrument. In my case and for most of young musicians it is only possible to purchase one by having the support of a funding.

Thanks to the giant help from the Sichting Eigen Muziekinstrument and from everybody that have supported me, I can finally afford to buy my professional bassoon which will make me able to pursue my dream of being a professional musician!
