Saxofoon

SEM has supported me in purchasing an alto saxophone, the most important saxophone for a classical musician. The alto saxophone is the basis for any saxophone player, and the instrument for which there is the most repertoire. I owned already an alto saxophone, but throughout my development during my studies in Amsterdam I started to feel more and more that my instrument was not allowing me to develop as I wished to. The more I developed, the more I started to know exactly the kind of sound I needed to express my music, and therefore the more I felt stuck with the instrument I had.

Finally, after trying many models and saxophones, I’ve found the one I was looking for: Buffet Prestige S1 - a fantastic instrument from the 80’s. When I tried it I knew that it was exactly what I needed, and I couldn’t be more grateful for finding SEM who could allow me to purchase precisely the instrument I wanted. This instrument has allowed me to grow so much more, and it has inspired my creativity and inspiration as a musician. I was honestly surprised when I realised how much freedom and inspiration an instrument like this one could give me. I hope that I’ll be able to transmit my passion and inspiration to audiences, students and younger musicians that will come across my path.
