Klarinet

I could get my first bass clarinet thanks to Stichting Eigen Muziekinstrument. I was waiting for long time ago to be able to complete this purchase and it came in the perfect moment of my career. As musicians we know that the quality of our instrument is very important, and SEM understands perfectly this issue with his mission.

Since I started with this beautiful instrument 4 years ago, I realized that this instrument would become in one of my favorite ways for expressing my musicality. I have been trying different types of clarinets, Eb, basset horn and historical clarinet but I fell in love immediately with the bass clarinet just listening their low notes! A bass clarinet is not just a complement of the clarinet, you can develop your profile as a clarinetist with only a bass clarinet. There are different many options (jazz, contemporary music, orchestra etc.), and in my case, I have been growing musically in the orchestra atmosphere and chamber music with my reed quintet. I needed an instrument with a very good quality to be able to connect and transmit with the audience and of course offering a good bass support to my colleagues.

I am very happy that in this important moment of my career I met SEM for supporting me in my purchase. Thank you very much!
