Thanks to the generous support of Stichting Eigen Muziekinstrument, I have been able to purchase a Bariton Sax Selmer Super Action 80. This instrument represents an essential step forward in my musical development and opens up new possibilities in both performance and artistic expression.

As a saxophonist active in both jazz and latin music, I perform in a wide variety of settings—from saxophone quartets and ensembles to big bands and Latin jazz groups. The baritone saxophone plays a central role in many of these projects, and having a professional instrument with such depth of tone, precision, and flexibility makes a world of difference.

This Selmer Super Action 80 not only enhances the sound and blend in ensemble playing but also gives me the freedom to explore solo and improvisational work with greater nuance and control. It will be a crucial tool in my ongoing work as a performer, educator, and researcher bridging jazz and latin traditions.
